I have a friend that is a ski and mountain guide in Montana. Between seasons he travels for several months at a time. He gave me his distinction between vacationing and traveling: vacation is for luxury and relaxing whereas travel is for adventure. I've thought about it as I have planned trips  - "do I just want to kickback on a beach chair or hike the trails and explore terrain?" ..Booth have their appeal. 

I feel a commonality with all that travel - whether you're here for work or for leisure, relaxation or exploration, I find satisfaction in thinking (hoping) that my place was a small part of your joy of your trip experience. 

I hope all that come as guests leave as friends.
